Restoring posture requires a reconditioning of muscle and connective tissues to support it and make it feel natural.     When good alignment is achieved, it has to be stored in the sensorimotor memory of the brain as the normal position.

People who carry heavy loads on their head are forced to develop good posture so they can lift their loads.
