Women’s Life Link would like to introduce, Dr. Heidi Kline, D.C.. Our impromptu meeting happened when she spoke at a seminar about the Livestrong.com website. I was unable to attend the event in person, so I listened in on the web. I found Dr. Kline inspiring and thorough in her delivery of the wellness/fitness information.
I have experienced her skills as a chiropractor first hand, and let me tell you, she is wonderful! My first visit to the Chiropractic and Wellness Center was basically an emergency (on a Saturday, of course) that Dr. Heidi was more than willing to attend to. She came in after closing to treat my neck pain that had accelerated to the worst I’d ever felt. She did her thing (she’ll share about this later). I was better immediately.
Please welcome Dr. Kline to the WLL author panel as well as to our community of Beautiful Women!
“I am inspired by passion – displayed in any form to improve or excite, encourage or comfort. When someone displays passion for the moment they are in and for where they are going… I am inspired.”
˜Dr. Heidi Kline
WLL - Who is Heidi Kline?
Heidi - Woman who is, enthusiastic, passionate, an athlete, nurturer, student, dancer, singer, laugher, from a big family, a lover, and busy, busy, busy. (oh yeah, and a crier too.)
WLL - What is your life focus right now?
Heidi - Growing a healthy practice so my husband and I can start a family.
WLL - In what way has being a doctor significantly changed you as a woman?
Heidi - You can tell me anything and I won’t bat an eye, whether it’s that you are battling depression or need to know the best positions for love making when you have knee pain. We are all human. I have no expectations of what a routine office will be. What I didn’t expect was to worry about patients when I’m not in the office or when I haven’t seen them in a while. My husband tells me I’m a worrier but… I like to think it is because I care so very much.
WLL – Describe a perfect day.
Heidi - Just one? Um…the day I had today. Perfect because right now my loved ones are safe and as happy as they choose to be. I guess I could have eaten more chocolate =) and slept in a little later.
Fantasy day: Morning hike with my husband (after coffee and breakfast) in Hawaii or some other tropical location, followed by a spa treatment, some yoga, and a social gathering for dinner. The meals would be fresh fruit, veggies, freshly caught fish, and a great dessert. (yummy!)
WLL – What is your best beauty tip?
Heidi - Wear underwear that makes you feel beautiful (sometimes that is 100% cotton/sometimes not). You’ll know because it makes you feel saucy all day and it is your secret (oh geez now you are all going to be wondering what underwear I’m wearing… too bad… my secret)!
WLL – What is your best health tip?
Heidi - Trifecta of health: Get exercise, Eat Healthy, and Stay Positive. What I see most commonly not enough WATER! or PROTEIN. Most women do not get enough protein or have trouble with digesting protein. Protein is SO important for hormones like estrogen and cholesterol (which is a precursor to Vitamin D) transportation, muscle rebuilding, energy, and a million other biochemical processes.
WLL – Tell us about a future goal.
Heidi - CHANGE THE WORLD!!! Hahahah (sinister laugh) I have goals each day. Short term… long term. I want to be a grandma and have old and new friends drop by for tea or coffee unannounced for a visit to laugh or paint or walk. In this goal, I am healthy in mind, body, and spirit and am financially content.
WLL - How do you deal with stress?
Heidi - I exercise, clean, eat more, become more sassy, and take action to remove the stress.
WLL – Who or what inspires you?
Heidi - OMG, so many things come to mind. The root of them all…I am inspired by passion – displayed in any form to improve or excite, encourage or comfort. When someone displays passion for the moment they are in and for where they are going…I am inspired.
WLL – Any regrets?
Heidi - Yes. Care to share. Hmmmm….The answer to my beauty tip.?. Common theme for my regrets is me saying things I should have kept to myself.

I too have had the honor of Dr. Kline’s magical hands. She is very supportive and encouraging and has a big heart. If she doesn’t see me for a while she jokingly says she knew something was off in her week… but I know she does care about my, as well as others, overall well being. I wish her many thanks and good luck in all her life endeavors.
Hi Emily,
I have not had the chance to go see her lately, and, boy, do I need to! She is a great asset to the health care community. Thanks for sharing your kind thoughts.
