In Your Dreams…

Have you ever noticed how the most significant events happen when you are not pining or asking for them?  This truly incredible phenomenon is certainly cause to be filled with gratitude.  As hard as I work for success and happiness, it floors me every time when something amazing happens as a result of, well…nothing that I did.  Call it whatever you want; I’m simply acknowledging it as manifestation of my dreams I do what I can, the rest is taken care of.  Simple.  Wonderful.  Life-changing.

In case you’re wondering what I’m all excited about, I’ve recently been given an opportunity to join a team to assist a fashion designer (a really amazing one who is well known; example: see above photo) in making a full-blown comeback in the industry.  She had been out of the loop for awhile and is now ready to WOW the socks off of NYC at the February 2011 fashion week.  I am providing her with some business writing that is needed to gain sponsorship for this event.  You bet I will be keeping you all up-to-date on what’s happening with it.

My point being: never underestimate the power of anything that you do or say.  In my case, it was a silly one line add for writing services that I posted on barterquest.com  that attracted Gemma Kahng right to my email inbox.  I am now in a position to not only help a beautiful, inspiring woman reach her goal but one that may open some doors I’ve been knocking on as of late.

So, just when you think nothing is working for you or your dreams will never come true…think again.  As the famous little blue fish says, “Just keep swimming…just keep swimming.”  Yes, I’ve been forced by my daughter to watch Finding Nemo about fifteen times this week.  It is rather inspiring, though.  Keep dreaming.

About Kellie R. Stone

I believe that every woman has passions and dreams, waiting to be unlocked. With encouragement and support, they could grow into something tangible no matter how out there they seem to be. For me, one of those heart-fluttering passions has always been writing. Since I did, indeed, cultivate my dream of being a writer, I've written and/or edited 15+ years worth of articles here or on other blogs, published two non-fiction books in the self-development genre, co-authored an international best seller, and am working on a poetry anthology and another women's inner journey book. I adore showing others how to live life unfiltered, whether I do it through the written word or other vibrant means. Kellie R. Stone

  1. That’s great! Good for you! Thanks for sharing your good news. You made it happen by taking an action.

    • It’s a wonderful feeling when things “just happen” without much effort, if any at all. I’m looking forward to more of these events. I’ll take one today, as a matter of fact.

      Thanks for your comment, Rebecca.
