Be An Artist Of The Soul

Creating the life you desire is in itself a true miracle.  Understand, I don’t say this lightly.  It’s not that obtaining real, lasting happiness is as sparsely experienced as we think miracles are these days.  On the contrary, it’s time to start thinking about what miracles really are and how often we dismiss the possibility of seeing them in our own lives.  As we produce from an authentic place within us, we are allowing ourselves to walk on a miraculous path that has been there all along but may have been covered by all the things we think we have to be and do.

Believe it or not, returning to a focused approach can help us become truer to ourselves, and that’s where the best art is made. No matter if you prefer to write introspectively or are considering how to promote your book, a little vulnerability often provides the best results. God does not interfere with an unfortunate “masking” of our creative souls.  Instead, through spiritual and physical promptings, we see the error and hopefully discover how to walk on the path of soulful artistry.

The truth about “why” this occurs is pretty simple: we are egotistical beings who need to feel accepted and loved by others.  Unfortunately, this way of living does not serve our higher selves or the universe.  We become people who change ourselves just to please the world. And we don’t shine as the beautiful, creative individuals we were meant to be.  Regardless of who you “think” you are, you are here to create an authentic life filled with joy and blessings to be shared with others.

Ask yourself the following questions: When was the last time you did something  just because it made YOU happy or feel fulfilled?  Do you often do or say things because you want to be accepted by others?  Do you change your creative endeavors (tone them down or edit them) out of fear of rejection?  If you answered “yes” to any of these, you may want to do some further introspection about your ego and true place in the world.  I’ve had to work hard to change my thinking in this area.  It’s not easy to make lasting changes, but it’s more than possible if you just stick to your guns and be honest with yourself.

Be Beautiful-Be Creative-Be Happy!

About Kellie R. Stone

I believe that every woman has passions and dreams, waiting to be unlocked. With encouragement and support, they could grow into something tangible no matter how out there they seem to be. For me, one of those heart-fluttering passions has always been writing. Since I did, indeed, cultivate my dream of being a writer, I've written and/or edited 15+ years worth of articles here or on other blogs, published two non-fiction books in the self-development genre, co-authored an international best seller, and am working on a poetry anthology and another women's inner journey book. I adore showing others how to live life unfiltered, whether I do it through the written word or other vibrant means. Kellie R. Stone
