One Creative Young Lady Changing The World

I was recently sent a press release about a young girl who is using her creative ideas and huge heart to change the world. Nine-year-old, Lizzie, is folding her way to raise $1,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, and she's already almost halfway to her goal. Her simple idea challenges adults to use talents and creativity to serve mankind in some way. The fact that she's spending her time working for this worthy cause is also a reflection of how she's been raised...praise to you Jennifer for teaching Lizzie the power of thinking outside the box and giving! My hope is that Lizzie surpasses her goal in a big way and even gets opportunities to help on a larger scale. Let's help Lizzy make a difference by reposting this article or sharing it on your social networking pages. If you have your own blog, please write a post about her and what she's doing.

Am I A Good Listener?

Giving your full attention, body, soul, and spirit to another takes practice. Frankly, they should be teaching this in elementary school instead of making it an adult class at the community college that no one ever takes.

Elastin

Here I am again with more skin care info for you! Today, I want to talk about Elastin. And no, it's not the stuff that keeps your swimsuit snug on your hips! But it does have a similar property. Elastin has 'snap back' to it, like your swimsuit, or like a rubber band. Elastin keeps the skin tight. Elastin keeps the skin flexible. If there is enough elastin in your skin it will retain and return to it's shape after being pulled or stretched.

Collagen Replacement: Is It Really Working?

I have some news for you, ladies. The other day a friend showed me a new moisturizer she had just spent a fortune on. She was so happy about it and wanted my opinion....so I looked at the ingredient list. And, I am sorry to say, I had to tell her that this collagen boosting promise the product was claiming was completely false! The product contained nothing that would actually help her skin to regain lost collagen. She had merely purchased an expensive moisturizer with no real anti-aging benefits!

Recognizing Great Leadership

Watch and Learn Each woman on this planet has the responsibility to find a path to her personal greatness. It's a journey of trial and error at best. Consider a small child when ready to walk, she may not understand the mechanics of her body, or how each joint works together with muscles and bones to make her walk; she does want something on the other side of the room-her goal-so she finds a way to get there.

Think Your Way to Happiness

Where Has Mentorship Gone?

I sat in my living room the other day talking to a friend. We got on the subject of mentorship by way of realizing that neither of us had a great example of a loving marriage as we were growing up. I took the thought further by trying to think of any couple that I knew personally who would score an eight or higher in that department.
