Beautiful Daughter-Beautiful Hair

I’m So Proud…

Hi everyone, I couldn’t resist introducing you to my beautiful daughter, Kayla, who is the first woman featured in the following video that aired on our local news as well as in the above photo.  She is currently in Cosmetology school and is on her way to a fabulous career in hair design and image consulting.  Kayla was also honored with a prestigious award from the company that teaches the business part of her course at Honors Beauty College.  She was whisked away to California to a glamorous hair show where the trophy and her prizes were awarded.  How exciting for her!  I am so proud of her and can’t wait to see what she does in the future.

She is one of our loyal followers here, so give her a round of applause for her accomplishments.  Let her know what you think of her fancy do.

About Kellie R. Stone

I believe that every woman has passions and dreams, waiting to be unlocked. With encouragement and support, they could grow into something tangible no matter how out there they seem to be. For me, one of those heart-fluttering passions has always been writing. Since I did, indeed, cultivate my dream of being a writer, I've written and/or edited 15+ years worth of articles here or on other blogs, published two non-fiction books in the self-development genre, co-authored an international best seller, and am working on a poetry anthology and another women's inner journey book. I adore showing others how to live life unfiltered, whether I do it through the written word or other vibrant means. Kellie R. Stone

It gives me very great pleasure, to say nothing of pride, to introduce a woman who is all the above and more and also my friend of some years’ standing. Please meet aged care worker, Monica Perrett, mum to six and grandmum to one. A real battler. Monica says, she has always supported the underdog and fights for what she believes is right. And, believe me, I have watched her, albeit from afar, and she is all that she says she is.

  2. Congratulations Kayla!
If you have half the passion, drive and determination that you’re mother seems to have, you will have nothing but success…and probably many adventures. 😉
