Days Of Self Value

We, as women, are the holders of the space for most of the loving-ness in our lives – we teach it, give it, share it - yet we so often forget to give to ourselves. Our focus is so often others-oriented that we get behind and lost in the self-care and nurturing department. We then wonder and worry why no one stops to think about what we might require and find ourselves wishing that our loved ones would just take the time to stop and focus on us.

Communication Cartwheels: Learning The Acrobats Of Talking

[dropcap]I[/dropcap] met my husband through the online dating site Match.com. I don’t remember his profile or the emails before we met up for our first date (I must have liked something I read but can’t recall any of it). What I do remember was the long conversation we had over drinks and how we stayed at the restaurant until closing. Next, we went back to my house (I had a roommate and knew if things got weird I’d still be safe) and talked the night away until we both fell asleep on my couch. Without skipping a beat, we continued the date with breakfast and more great conversation over coffee.

Are You Unknowingly Bullying Others?

I have written five books on bullying in relationships in Danish before releasing “110 Ways to Detect a Bad Relationship – Before it’s too Late”. A man read my first book and wrote me that he was in shock. He had no idea how the way he had been treating/talking to his wife (who had killed herself years earlier) and various girlfriends might have affected them.

Embody The Love…

Love is... Adulation, affection, devotion, emotion, infatuation, relish, worship… there are lots of words that are synonymous for love, but nothing can replace LOVE. A Search For Love

I think the problem is that I’ve never understood quite what love is. Is it having someone there for you when you need him or her? Seriously, do these seem like I expect too much?

An Unusual Life Of The Second Wife

Anais Nin once said, "Love never dies a natural death. It dies because we don't know how to replenish it's source. It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of witherings, of tarnishings ". In part I whole heartedly agree with her. Love does not just fade away into the back ground. One or both parties let it die.

Meet NYC Singer/Songwriter Kalen Lister

I was recently introduced to up-and-coming NYC musician, singer/songwriter, Kalen Lister and thrilled that she agreed to do an interview. As soon as I listened to her music, I loved it! It's bold and fresh, in your face and demure, all at the same time. Kalen is a session vocalist at Tainted Blue Studio and for Equal Sonics. She is currently writing and co-writing songs with some of New York City’s best rising writers and producers, developing her catalog and licensing her music for film, TV and multi-media. On the rare occasion she has the time, she plays keys and sings in NYC based bands; such as, Missing Ships and Stone The King.

I Is Also For Intuition

Intuition is really one of those concept words that could, depending on who you are, have multiple and various meanings. To me it is a compilation of signals from body, mind, and spirit that help direct my choices and actions. I consider myself intuitive and usually able to recognize my inner promptings.
