A Beautiful Award

Thanks to a new friend from The RedheadRiter, I received this lovely (aesthetic and meaningful) award.  I am so honored that such a new follower has been moved to bestow this badge of beauty on Women’s Life Link.  Well, with awards comes responsibility (at least in the blogging community).  Here’s the low-down on this particular one:

♦  I must thank the person who bestowed this honor upon me.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Redhead Riter!  You are pretty special yourself.

♦  Copy the award and place it on my blog.

Here’s the good-looking award for the post, and I’ve placed it in my sidebar, a more permanent display.

♦  Link to the bestowers’ site.

I’ll give you two links…

♦  Share seven things about myself…the hard one.   Well, I’ll do my best to make this intersesting.

1.  I have a mole on my earlobe the size of a pea.  I’ve never been able to get my ears double pierced because of it.  I’ve consideed removing it, but I sort of think it makes me unique.

2.  I secretly want one of those little accessory dogs to hang out with at the mall and coffee shop.  My preferred breeds…the cockapoo or pekinese.

3.  I move one foot continuously while going to sleep.

4.  I once started a club with a friend of mine called The Devil’s Angels.  Yeah, I was a rebel without a cause (that should count for #5).

5.  I get strange, disturbing sensations up and down my legs when I see someone get injured, especially my children.

6.  I once took my mom’s car (at age 13) and accidentally hit the neighbor’s fence.  Oops…

7.  My ancestory is English, Irish, and Scottish.

Phheww…glad that’s done.  It took me forever to come up with good stuff that I haven’t posted before.

Now, for the last one, I have to pass this prestiges awad on to seven othe bloggers that I feel deserve it.  Here’s to you, my chosen 7!

About Kellie R. Stone

"I make no excuses for my diverse roles as a Rock Your Feminine Type Coach™ and Branding Expert, best-selling author, and crime thriller novelist. Yes, I do still chuckle a bit at the irony. I kick ass as a women’s biz coach by day and kill off vulnerable fiction characters at night. What the hell, it makes for some interesting dreams. I believe that everyone should pursue their passions no matter how out there they seem to be. One of those pure heart-fluttering passions for me has always been writing. Since I did, indeed, chase my dream of being a writer, I've published two non-fiction books in the self-development genre, co-authored an international best seller, and now I'm finally pushing my much-too-old-to-be-in-the-nest novel out the door and into the world. My whole world is empowering and I adore showing others how to live life unfiltered, whether I do that through the written word or my coaching work. I love my job!" ~Kellie R. Stone

Human Rights Activist, Monica Perrett, Simply Keeps Fighting

It gives me very great pleasure, to say nothing of pride, to introduce a woman who is all the above and more and also my friend of some years’ standing. Please meet aged care worker, Monica Perrett, mum to six and grandmum to one. A real battler. Monica says, she has always supported the underdog and fights for what she believes is right. And, believe me, I have watched her, albeit from afar, and she is all that she says she is.

  1. Thank you for thinking of me here! You rock!

  2. Hey Kellie,

Congratulations on your award. You ARE a beautiful woman. Loved learning more about you. And those little accessory dogs? I don’t know about the breeds you mentioned, and I don’t know if a Shih Tzu qualifies, but they are just about the best dogs in the world! (Not that I’m biased now or anything…lol)

Thanks so much for thinking of me with this award. I’m honored and so glad to know you!

  3. Why thank you! What compliment. 🙂
