I was recently contacted by a rep from Lather, Inc., a natural beauty company based in Pasadena, California. She shared the fact that Lather was starting a new charitable campaign with the sale of The Planting Seeds Kit. Lather is raising money for the National Headache Foundation with each sale of the lavender gift package.
All you have to do to be deceived these days is turn on the TV, open a magazine, jump on a website, or buy a beauty product that pictures a celebrity on the box. What we see is not real. It’s not even close to real. When was the last time that you saw a woman on the cover of Vogue, Self, or even Good Housekeeping sporting acne scars, stretch marks, cellulite, or age spots?
