Hi everyone. I wanted to dig into the archives today and give you some of the best of Fortunate Friday. Read one or all of them. I find it helpful to go back and read things a second or third time, as our first exposure to info or inspiration might not be timely or in the perfect season. I hope you are all growing and finding your special paths of purpose.

Have you ever noticed how the most significant events happen when you are not pining or asking for them? This truly incredible phenomenon is what I am grateful for this week.

As far as me, I'm thankful for all of the incredible opportunities that have flown through my door as of late. Desires that I had months and even years ago are coming to pass right before my eyes.

My daughter showed me this today...so worthy of our attention. Let's be thankful for the generation of young people who will be the leaders of tomorrow.

Since this is the first day of my childrens' Spring Break, I wanted to spend a little extra time with them. Because I am truly fortunate to have their beautiful souls in my life, I am going to take a breather from writing a new article today and connect you to some of my favorite posts from past Fortunate Fridays. And here they are...take your pick or read them all!

My Missy Moo (toddler girl) has been watching this one episode of Barney and Friends over and over again. Though I don't have anything against the purple dinosaur, it never fails that the songs get stuck in my head...I then proceed to sing them - a common mommy event, I'm sure.

After learning that my father had been hospitalized with blocked arteries, I realized how fortunate that I am to have him in my life. It's not that I haven't realized it before, it's just when you suddenly get news like that, you take inventory...at least I do.

Have you ever wondered what opportunities and relationships you've missed out on because you were too afraid to put yourself out there? This happens so often when our minds become overly occupied by our failures, disappointments, and even our negative thoughts about who we are and what our abilities are.

Today, I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported Women's Life Link and made it such a fabulous community. I'm so fortunate to have met so many beautiful women since we launched nearly a year ago.

I know for some, avoiding knowledge about their health condition, weight, and fitness level is a common practice. I think it's one of those "what you don't know won't hurt you" things.

Acknowledging even the smallest of gestures sent forth into our experience is one of the most satisfying things you can do. We've all heard the saying "stop and smell the roses."

Do you remember the last time you really knocked your own socks off with a feat of your personal best? The pride that fills your heart; the praise you get from others; the sudden feeling that you have made your mark on the world all melt into your experience like the best hot fudge you've ever tasted.

As we approach the final days of the year, I want to remind you ladies to be thankful for your blessings. After all, we have warm homes, beds, friends, family, food on our tables, and clean water flowing from our faucets.

A woman's day is filled with opportunities. We give, receive, love, hate; we choose in which direction our lives go; we seek truth or we settle for less. It's up to us to find true joy and fulfillment.

This week has been one of soul-searching and self-examination...no, not the breast kind. I've been seeking to understand myself in a greater way- the inside person who drives the bus, so to speak. It's not all glory and gum drops you see. It's been a tough journey of realizing that I have a ton of work to do.
