You might think there are better things a life coach should be doing then writing about why coaching doesn't work for the majority of those who try it. Well, I had an epiphany, really...a life-changing one. That is, it will change my life as well as yours, if you dare to pay attention and follow through with my intuition on the subject. So, here I go out on that really thin, shaky limb...

As women, we naturally guide the heart-center and atmosphere of our homes. We feel more; we believe more; and we certainly create enthusiasm when we need to. And, unfortunately, we can also tear down every thing we’ve worked for with that same power when it’s influenced by negative emotions that don’t serve us. If you despair over circumstances or a difficult situation to the point of emotional compromise, your family feels it. They follow you whether you want them to or not.

Well, ladies, I've been loving my new apartment with a lake view. It has given me some true relaxing time staring out at the reflection that somehow always looks more interesting than the real thing. One thing I've been paying attention to is a group of ducks that lives by the lake. They are out swimming, flying, and playing every day. I'm thankful for the fact that I get on-the-spot epiphanies from nature's performance quite often. This week was no exception.

I had a strong thought today about the topic of accountability and how important it is. When we can share our goals (even the ones in our weak areas) with another, the chances of accomplishing them are so much greater.

As I stared at the red chicken scratch, I suddenly realized that our lives produce millions of thoughts, events, experiences, skills, and traumas that stay dormant in our minds or forgotten altogether.

The thing you need to know about chronic anger is that it's root cause lies in a completely different emotion altogether. In fact, it's safe to say that frustration and unfulfilled expections are more accurately to blame than an out-of-control aggressive personality.

Now that we understand exactly what I'm talking about, let's get to it. First, the need to be kind (without planning it) for some is apparent, while for others it might hesitantly sneak out after much deliberation...I said might.
