What Is My Purpose?

Introspective Sunday: What Is My Purpose? Ooh...this is a loaded question and is likely one of the most important ones you can ever ask yourself. With various shoes to fill, women can become extremely busy meeting the needs of others; even though we willingly enter into many different ventures, tasks and jobs, are we truly fulfilling our life purposes within the mayhem?

Am I Selfish?

Introspective Sunday: Am I selfish? There is one problem with this question...that is if you actually are selfish. Most people who are self-centered won't even entertain the thought that they have "it's all about me" syndrome, at least until they have a revelation.

Am I A Good Friend?

For some making friends (and keeping them) comes easily, and for others it seems to be a daunting chore that never seems to happen. Today, I was thinking about all of the people in my life whom I consider to be my friends, how we met, and how we continue to grow (or not) in our relationships. Have I been a good friend? Yes and no...nobody is perfect.

Oh, crap...this thing is halfway over! And, I wish I could say that I'd reached all of my mid-point goals - not so much, but I haven't given up. At least the challenge has prodded me to move closer to them. I did have a small epiphany this week though. While at my chiropractor's office, I had to use the restroom and noticed a framed quote on a table across from the toilet.

What is Introspection?

Considering all that you can learn about yourself, the act of "looking within" should become second nature. I find it exciting, difficult, and even scary (sounds like a good thriller) to approach the part of your mind and emotions that often get the brunt of your choices.

Fortunate Friday: Constructive Criticism

A part of coaching a woman to achieve true life fulfillment and happiness is to help her see where she is and where she wants to go. I've had to do a lot of self-coaching over the years just to stay sane and moving forward. And, to tell you the truth, I still have many areas in my life that need work. We all do.

Instant Health Boosters: Writing and Journaling

I can't tell you how many women I've known who have said, "I hate writing; I just don't know what to say." And though some of them may have been grammatically-challenged, I always encouraged them to give it a try. Writing for creative expression or simply to journal your ideas is not about being perfect or eloquant; it's about YOU and what's inside of YOU.

Facing Fears

Have you ever been in a place that just felt creepy; did you get goose bumps and swear that someone was watching you? Fear actually brings in a serious influx of creativity - the scary kind.
